The father-son team of Darryl and Darin Zuber are excited to build a bigger business in line with their long-term vision – and they’re doing that using Keller Williams models and technology.

Zuber Real Estate Team, comprised of father, son and seven team members, joined the Keller Williams Fresno (Calif.) Market Center in November, ending 2018 with more than $70 million closed and 190 units sold. Darryl, who has been in real estate for 48 years, inspired his son’s career choice.

“I always wanted to be a REALTOR like my dad,” Darin says.

He started in the business fresh out of Fresno State. For more than 20 years, the Zubers enjoyed working together at a large independent. Although they were successful, both wanted more for their growing team.

“There came a point … that we needed to model after other people. And Keller Williams had a lot of people I wanted to be in a room with.”

They also wanted to access Keller Williams’ technology resources, impressed by the financial investment the company has made to build a platform with input from agents.

“To have 180,000 associates pouring into a tech platform that will take us to the next generation of real estate, that was a huge factor,” Darin says.

Using that technology and implementing models learned through training, the Zubers are developing a more robust system for customer service. But the most significant impact has come through a culture shift.

“We’re here because of a culture that brings other people together.”

For Darin, “Great culture means being somewhere you enjoy so much that you don’t have to be paid to be there. It’s hard to put into words, but I can tell you I’ve found it at Keller Williams.”
